Accessibility and Inclusion

Savour the Flavour is a community event and welcomes everyone. We are always working on ways to improve our Festival and the experience for all, including our guests with disabilities and limited mobility.

Savour the Flavour is held at Richmond Oval and Richmond Park. The venue is fully navigable for people with mobility disabilities. The venue consists of footpaths and natural mixed terrain. During peak periods the festival can be very crowded.

We welcome and encourage all feedback and suggestions from our attendees. For any accessibility related questions please email us at

The accessible amenities are accessible port-a-loo’s and are basic.

We have a designated accessible parking area at Richmond Park carpark access via March Street. This parking area is automatically available for any vehicle bearing a standard Disability Parking Permit.

The accessible parking area will be displayed on the festival map when available.

The chill out zone will be available for visitors who need some time out space from the crowds.

Disability Inclusion Action Plan

Hawkesbury City Council is committed to fostering a community that is inclusive for all people who live, work, and visit our region. This means ensuring all people with disabilities and diverse needs have every opportunity to fully connect, participate and enjoy the community, social and business life of the Hawkesbury region.

As part of this commitment, Council has developed the Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2023-2026. A number of the principals contained within the Plan help guide the Events team to create more accessible and inclusive events.
