Where is Savour the Flavour?

Savour the Flavour is located in the heart of Richmond NSW, at Richmond Oval and Richmond Park.

An hour and half drive, 57 kms north west of Sydney, via the M2 Motorway, Old Windsor Road and Windsor Road.

Thirty minutes drive, 22kms north of Penrith via the Castlereagh or Londonderry Roads.

An hour and half drive, 89kms from Lithgow via Bells Line of Road.

How long has Savour the Flavour been running?

Savour the Flavour has been running since 2022.

Who runs Savour the Flavour?

Savour the Flavour is run by the Hawkesbury City Council Events Team.

How many people attend Savour the Flavour?

Savour the Flavour typically sees in excess of 5000 in attendance at the event.

What time do the gates open?

Savour the Flavour 2023 will be held on Saturday 14 October. Gates will open at 4pm.

Am I allowed to bring alcohol into Savour the Flavour?

No. BYO alcohol is not permitted through the Savour the Flavour gates. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages can be purchased at the event.

Are there ATM Facilities?

No.  Food vendors may accept both cash and eftpos. There are ATM facilities available in the main street of Richmond on Windsor Street or Richmond Marketplace.

Can I bring my pet to Savour the Flavour?

No. Due to the large numbers of people that attend and glass at the event we don’t allow pets inside the festival grounds.

Is there parking at the event?

Parking will be available at Richmond Marketplace  or surrounding streets.

Council  encourages you to catch public transport to the event, as Richmond Station is opposite the event space.

Is smoking permitted at the event?

No smoking event.

Is this a kid friendly event?

Yes,  we will be having kids workshops and kid souvenir cups as well as rides and free face painting.

Can I bring my own picnic essentials?

Picnic Blanket - Yes
Picnic basket - Yes 
Temporary structure/Sun shades - No

Will there be amusement rides at the event?

Yes, $30 unlimited rides wristbands or $7 per ride.
